A hotel with character, that is comfortable and staffed by friendly people - there is very little else one could ask for - oh, and the food was good, especially the breakfast kippers!

This is a lovely hotel with several beautiful gardens out back and many places to sit outside. (Some seem like "secret gardens"). There are also lovely areas inside to sit with friends....

St Sampsons, Guernsey Tourist Information

St Sampsons is divided into two separate sections, the bulk of the parish lying on the east coast, with a smaller section lying on the west coast. The parish of Vale borders the parish to the north and also extends between the two parts of St Sampsons.

The parish church of St Sampsons claims to be the oldest of Guernsey's parish churches and is a great place to visit. The recent rejuvenation of the working harbour into a residents' marina in St Sampsons has seen it start to shred its reputation of 'industrial Guernsey'.

There are plenty of attractions in St Simpsons: Delancey Park is a popular park suitable for many activities, there is a state of the art, 18 lane bowling centre 'The Island Bowl, as well as the popular Oatlands craft centre.

Hill Crest Cottage
Hill Crest, St. Clair Hill, St. Sampson, Guernsey, GB
Hill Crest was originally two cottages that were long ago combined into a spacious home with all of the latest conveniences. The original cottages were built over two hundred years ago to house workers from a nearby granite quarry which is no longer in operation. We have a large conservatory, where breakfast is served whilst looking out over the magnificent views.
