The Hotel is found close to Moulin Huet bay, one of the prettiest parts of the island, immortalised by Renoir. Guests find the hotel a convenient base from which to visit St Peter Port, or other locations such L'ancresse common for golf, Cobo Bay for sandy beaches, or the peaceful rural interior of the Ruettes Tranquilles'. The other Channel Islands of Herm, Sark, Alderney and Jersey can prove an exciting alternative and are easily reached by regular boat trips.

In St Martins itself is Sausmarez Manor, which has parts that date back to late 12th centuries and is an impressive manor house. Regarded as the finest house in Guernsey, it has been home to the de Sausmarez family since the 13th century.
There are many attractions and events held at the Manor, such as house tours, ghost tours, art exhibitions, golf and concerts. Something for everyone - and well worth a look if you're staying in St Martins.
