A former country house, the 3 Star La Barbarie was converted into a hotel in 1950
and the old quiet charm has never left. Located in a quiet wooded valley in the
parish of St. Martins, it is a relaxing Guernsey country hotel that only a lucky
few discover, and its location is ideal for Saints Bay and coves on the South coast.
4 Star Self Catering apartments are available set in the delightful gardens.

set in delightful gardens and offering three star levels of comfort. All are beautifully
furnished and most overlook the heated swimming pool. All apartments are non smoking.

Restaurant La Barbarie is an award winning restaurant and has received the following
accolades: 'Most inventive starter', 'Best Restaurant Service', 'Best in Competition
Category' and 'Overall Winner - Guernsey Restaurants of the Year'. With a daily
changing, fixed price five course dinner menu, restaurant La Barbarie represents
excellent value for money.
There is a full English or Continental breakfast served daily, bar lunches and an
'à la carte' menu is available until 9.00pm. The enjoyment of food is considered
a social as well as a culinary experience and the staff are helpful and friendly.
