The warm and friendly hotel is ideally suited for family holidays and restful short breaks, and with 99 en-suite bedrooms can cater for all.

Rooms

The Peninsula Hotel's 99 en-suite, spacious and comfortable bedrooms offer a range of modern amenities: satellite television, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.

Each bedroom has a single and a double bed with en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. 39 of the 99 bedrooms are non-smoking rooms and 32 of them have views over Grand Havre Bay.

There are 7 sets of interconnecting rooms available as well as some family rooms which can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

There are 25 ground floor bedrooms, 2 of which have wheelchair access and are category 3 disabled bedrooms. The hotel has wheelchair access throughout with car parking for disabled guests at the front door and there is a lift.

Restaurant

The Sarnia Restaurant offers a daily changing 'a la carte' menu as well as a 'table d'hote' menu. This menu concentrates on fresh produce in particular local Guernsey fish and seafood.

The Rendez-vous Bar caters for those who require a lighter evening meal and also provides a wide range of lunches with a selection of daily specials.

In the summer lunches can be served by the pool.

Swimming Pool

The Peninsula Hotel boasts an outdoor Swimming Pool.

Weddings

The Peninsula Hotel is an ideal venue for your wedding reception with a flexible function suite that can accommodate from 20 guests to 150 and is equipped with a private bar and a dance floor. The hotel car park can also hold up to 120 cars. The dedicated wedding team are always delighted to assist you and offer their expert advice, free overnight accommodation is provided for the bride and groom and there is a wide selection of wedding menus for you to choose from. Also on offer is a Red carpet at the hotel entrance on arrival and floral decoration for the bridal table.

Conference Rooms

The Peninsula Hotel has the right room for every occasion: Conferences, Meetings, Seminars, Dinner Dance, Family Celebrations, Weddings and Christmas Parties. The evening function room can cater for 20 to 150 guests and can be partitioned to form either two or three smaller, self/contained rooms. When divided into 3 rooms, each can accommodate 40 persons in Classroom Style, 70 persons in Theatre Style and 25 persons in a U-Shape. It has its own private bar and can be equipped with a dance floor.

'Grand Havre Suite' is the most flexible room in the hotel and can accommodate 210 persons in a Theatre Style, 150 persons in a Dinner layout, 140 persons in Classroom Style, 105 persons in Boardroom Style or 76 persons as a U-Shape. The St Sampson Room can accommodate 30 persons in Classroom Style, 45 persons in Theatre Style and 16 persons in a U-Shape. The St Saviour Room accommodate 8 persons in Boardroom Style, 10 persons in Classroom Style, 16 persons in Theatre Style and 7 persons as a U-Shape.

All the conference rooms enjoy natural daylight and can easily be blacked out. A comprehensive range of equipment is provided free of charge and additional equipment available is: Powerpoint Projector, Wifi, Overhead Projectors, Screens, Flipcharts, Television and Video, Public Address System and Stage.
