A very pleasant stay at Les Douvres. Very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was perhaps a little dated but clean and functional. The breakfast was excellent, although croissants and pain au chocolat as an option would have been nice-it is French afterall! We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was superb-outstanding moules marinee.

Good hotel. Good breakfast. Quiet. Good bar, good food. Nice beds, Wifi, clean, lots of parking. I consider anywhere on the island to be a good location, but this is very good, close to airport and town center.

A former 18th century Manor House set in its own private grounds and ideally situated
in the quiet parish of St Martins, Les Douvres Hotel is a small 3 Star hotel with
traditional standards of comfort, cuisine and service. Described by many visitors
as the most beautiful part of Guernsey, the location is within ten minutes drive
by car to the capital of Guernsey, St. Peter Port, and is ideal for exploring the
magnificent Guernsey South Coast Bays and cliffs walks.
Rooms
The 20 well appointed bedrooms are mainly situated on the first and second floors,
but there are two ground floor rooms. All have private bathroom facilities and a
colour TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and
are centrally heated. Family rooms are also available.
Restaurant
Les Douvres Hotel's Restaurant is well known throughout Guernsey for its high standards
and excellent cuisine. The varied Table d'Hote menu offers a variety of English
and Continental dishes, and the Á La Carte menu a comprehensive selection of local
Fresh Seafood and Flambé Specialities. To compliment your meal there is an extensive
Wine List available.
As well as the restaurant there is a bar situated on the ground floor that is open
to the public and bursting with character such as its "Olde Worlde" beams. Drinks
are served throughout the day and evening and there is a daily comprehensive Bar
Lunch Menu available.
Swimming Pool
The Swimming Pool is situated in a sheltered sunny corner of the Gardens. Sun-beds
are provided and refreshments are served throughout the day when weather permits.
