Les Douvres Hotel, Guernsey is a former 18th century Manor House ideally situated in the quiet St Martins Parish, in the South East corner of the island, and referred to by many visitors as the most beautiful part of Guernsey.

Les Douvres Hotel is set in its own Private Grounds and is an ideal position for exploring the magnificent Guernsey South Coast Bays and cliffs walks, with views extending as far as the nearby French Coast, with the Channel Islands of Herm, Jethou and Sark in the foreground.

Saints Bay, with its tiny Fishing Harbour is close by and the main town and capital of St. Peter Port, Guernsey is within ten minutes drive by car (approximately 2.5. miles). An excellent bus service passes the Hotel at regular intervals.

Despite extensive building works and refurbishments the Hotel's "Olde Worlde" character has been carefully retained.

Rooms

The 20 well appointed bedrooms are mainly situated on the first and second floors, but there are two ground floor rooms. All have private bathroom facilities and a colour TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and are centrally heated. Children are most welcome and family rooms are available.

Restaurant

Les Douvres Hotel's Restaurant is well known throughout Guernsey for its high standards and excellent cuisine. The varied Table d'Hote menu offers a variety of English and Continental dishes, and the Á La Carte menu a comprehensive selection of local Fresh Seafood and Flambé Specialities. To compliment your meal there is an extensive Wine List available.

As well as the restaurant there is a bar situated on the ground floor that is open to the public and bursting with character such as its "Olde Worlde" beams. Drinks are served throughout the day and evening and there is a daily comprehensive Bar Lunch Menu available.

Swimming Pool

The Swimming Pool is situated in a sheltered sunny corner of the Gardens. Sun-beds are provided and refreshments are served throughout the day when weather permits.
