Room Description: The newly renovated suites accommodate up to four people, two in a separate bedroom and two in the "chill out" lounge area. The tasteful furniture has been chosen carefully by the owners. There is also an adjoining double room with "wet room" should you wish to take the whole loft for a larger gathering. All the suites have satellite flat-screen TV's, fantastic views and all the other mod cons you would expect.

A historic and beautifully restored farmhouse hotel dating from the 1580s, it sits within the countryside of Castel, Guernsey. Featuring 2 family suites and 15 en-suite rooms, many feature newly renovated wet rooms and sandstone bathrooms. Fleur Du Jardin Hotel features a large Solar Heated Swimming Pool with generous terracing and decking areas throughout and there is also a new health suite called 'The Lavender Rooms'.

Rooms

Fleur Du Jardin Hotel's 15 rooms all have en-suite facilities and are equipped with the following: telephones, colour TV, hair dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Doubles and Twin rooms are available but for larger families, the two suites may be more suitable. These have been newly renovated and can accommodate up to four people, two in a separate bedroom and two in the "chill out" lounge area.

The loft suite features beams and granite walls and a "wet room" and "soaking in the tub" room. "Shabby Chic" is the influence on the carefully chosen furniture as well as a contemporary touch of luxury. The whole loft can also be booked, ideal for larger groups as there is an adjoining double bedroom with "Wet room". All the suites have satellite flat screen TV's, fantastic views and all the other mod cons you would expect. As these suites are very popular so early booking is recommended, particularly for long weekends.

Dining

The restaurant at the Fleur Du Jardin Hotel has many awards to its name, including regularly voted as "The Best Dining Inn" in the Channel Islands by the Good Food Guide. And in 2007 was deemed one of the best "County" Dining pubs for that year, one of only 16 in the whole of the UK by the same guide. The head chef uses as much local produce as possible, such as local sea stock, and maintains a very high standard of culinary cuisine. The Bar is constantly changing the selection of real ales and includes a carefully selected wine list which reflects its awards and inclusion in "CAMRA". These perfectly compliment the cuisine and make for a rewarding dining experience.

Swimming Pool

The Fleur Du Jardin Hotel has a large Solar Heated Swimming Pool with generous terracing and decking areas throughout.

Spa

There is a new health suite called 'The Lavender Rooms'.

Tourist Attractions

The hotel can arrange tours to the other islands such as Sark for as little as £25 per person including pick up from the Hotel, return Ferry Crossing to Sark and return transport to the Hotel in the evening. Sea fishing trips can also be arranged - take a half or full day trip with one of the hotel's local fishermen, and whatever you catch the Chef will cook and serve for you!

The near-by Vazon & Richmond beaches are perfect for surfing and are worth visiting even just to watch, or to relax and go for a swim.
