Situated in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey's Capital, The Duke of Normandie
is a small hotel offering 11 executive and 26 en-suite rooms. Conveniently located
just 75 metres from the High Street, the hotel also has a private car park for guests
in the town centre.
Rooms
With a boutique look and feel, the 11 new executive rooms at The Duke of Normandie
offer a higher standard of accommodation. They are stylishly furnished and come
equipped with an LCD television with Sky, DVD and CD player, iPod station, minibar,
and laundry service and ironing facilities.
The high quality beds boast pocket sprung mattresses, draped in the finest cotton
linen for ultimate comfort. Room service is available from 7am until 11pm and a
complimentary daily newspaper is available. Guests staying in an executive room
also benefit from free use of the hotel's DVD library.
All of The Duke of Normandie standard rooms are comfortably furnished and en-suite,
offering great value.
Facilities include a TV with Sky, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, telephone,
and laundry and room service are also available.
All rooms are non-smoking, and free wifi access is provided throughout the hotel.
Restaurant
Welcoming hotel guests and non-hotel guest alike, The Brasserie is The Duke of Normandie's
stylish and relaxing restaurant. Offering a choice of continental or traditional
English menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner see a choice of à la carte and set
menus with a varied wine list sourced from the old and new worlds.
The maritime-themed surroundings of the Admiral de Saumarez bar are located in one
of the oldest parts of the hotel – dating back to the late 17th century. Providing
traditional English pub meals at lunch and dinner, The Admiral is popular with Guernsey
locals and hotel residents alike.

The Normandie Suite is a multi-purpose conference room capable of holding up to

Tourist Attractions
There are many great buildings to admire and visit in St Peter Port. Elizabeth College,
founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1563, and Hauteville House, formally owned by Victor
Hugo, the French author who wrote the novel 'Les Misérables' and now a museum, are
two examples.
