The staff were very pleasant and helpful, The room was very comfortable, but the bathroom only had a bath, not a shower. Breakfast was between 8am and 9am which we found to be bit limiting. We would have preferred 8am -9.30am. The breakfasts were very good and the evening meals were truly excellent.

Hôtel fabuleux. Accueil très chaleureux. Donna se donne à fond pour ses clients et les "chouchoute" ! Ennes côté restauration est aussi au petit soin. Le tout dans une ambiance joyeuse et même familiale. On se sent chez soi, comme si nous connaissions nos hôtes depuis longtemps et qu'ils étaient nos amis. Il y a eu aussi 2 soirées de musique, pour danser et pour un karaoké. Super. La chambre était très agréable. Quant à la propreté, le ménage est fait à fond tous les jours et Donna aussi astique et ne laisse aucune poussière traîner ! Si nous retournons à Guernsey, c'est sûr nous reviendrons à Wayside Cheer Hotel et y resterons plus longtemps.

It would be hard to find better value accomodation in Guernsey in such a good location. My room was a generous sized double with ample storage and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was ample with a good shower over the bath tub. There was a full menu breakfast served in the dining room. Evening meals can be taken in the dining room and bar meals are also available. The premises are 150 yards from a sandy beach and less than 100 yards from the bus stop with a regular service into town or along the west coast. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
My room was in the annex, a single storey building overlooking the outdoor pool. This might not be quite so attractive in the winter months since it means a short walk in the open to reach the main part of the hotel.

a 20 minute drive from Guernsey's Capital, St Peter Port. An ideal hotel for families,

Rooms
The 30 refurbished en-suite bedrooms at the Wayside Cheer Hotel all feature new
carpet, curtains, bedding & furniture including high quality beds. All bedrooms
are equipped with a colour TV, Radio and Tea and coffee making facilities. Nine
of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor for easy accessibility.
Restaurant
The spacious in-house restaurant serves quality meals including steaks, ribs, chicken,
shrimp and three course evening meals, all prepared by some of the most experienced
chefs on the Island. The Olde World Lounge Bar is also a great place to eat and
a firm favourite with the locals due to its friendly staff and excellent value meals.
Bar meals are served daily and there are weekly specials from the kitchen on the
Specials Boards.
Swimming Pool
Alongside the apartments and sheltered by trees and shrubs is the outdoor heated
(May to September) Swimming Pool and sun trap terrace.
