L'Ancresse Bay in Guernsey
L'Ancresse Bay is a wide and flat beach which is one of the biggest bays on the
island. With deep sand, the water is perfect for windsurfing, surfing, sailing,

Vazon Bay in Guernsey
Perhaps one of the most scenic and largest bays on Guernsey, Vazon Bay is home to
an award-winning Blue Flag beach, which stretches for around 3 km 2 miles and features

Guernsey Events May 2012 Liberation Day, Guernsey 2012 - Wednesday 9th May 2012 will mark the 67th
anniversary of the Liberation of Guernsey from the occupying German forces. Guernsey
celebrates with a Bank Holiday that is packed with fun events for all the family.
The hub of the activities is at the piers of St Peter Port and there are plenty
of attractions for young and old alike including historical exhibitions, open-air
concerts, street entertainers, buskers and live theatre.
Guernsey Events June 2012 Guernsey International Air Rally - 29th June 2012 - 01st July 2012, Guernsey
Aero Club, La Planque Lane, Forest.
Guernsey Events July 2012 Le Viaer Marchi - Monday 2nd July 2012, Saumarez Park from 6pm. Organised
by the National Trust of Guernsey with traditional crafts, dancing, language, costume,
food and drink and lots of fun. Le Viaer Marchi is a hugely popular event with both
locals and visitors and takes place in the beautiful Saumarez Park.
Guernsey Harbour Carnival 2012 - 6th July 2012, St Peter Port Harbour (Victoria
Marina) /Seafront 5.30pm until 10pm. Based at St. Peter Port Harbour, with fun events,
such as a Dinghy Race and Tug of War.
Guernsey Events August 2012 - Rocquaine Regatta - 11 August 2012, Rocquaine Bay, Route du Rocquaine, St
Peters. Free entertainment for all ages.
